December meeting - Dec. 10, 2008 will be at Bear Lake Manor.  Club is paying for the luncheon to be catered.

Welcome to the Spirit of the Woods Garden Club

The Spirit of the Woods Garden Club of Manistee County, Michigan was organized in 1937 and federated in 1944.  The club is a member of the Michigan Garden Clubs, Inc. - Central Region and the Michigan Garden Clubs, Inc. - District V.  We are Club #197 and currently have 41 members and growing.

Spirit of the Woods Garden Club meets April through December on the second Monday of each month.  Our meeting starts at noon with a luncheon and is followed by a speaker or demonstration then concludes with our business meeting.  The meetings are held at the Lake Bluff Audubon Society headquarters on Lakeshore Road in Manistee.  Occasionally we meet at other locations, so make sure to check the calendar for our next meeting.  Visitors are always welcome, so mark your calendar and join us!
